It's Amazing to Be Young

Fontaines DC have announced another huge show for this summer. Following the announcements that the band will take to the stage in London, Manchester, Cardiff and Newcastle. On April 22nd the band added Belfast to the list, playing at Belfast Vital. The show at Boucher Road Playing Fields is one of the bands biggest announcements to date.

It's most definitely their biggest Irish show to date.

Tickets for the concert go on sale, on April 25th 2025. As with their other huge summer gigs the band will be joined by Kneecap. It will be a special gig for the Kneecap lads, with it being a huge homecoming show.

News of the new show comes just days after it was revealed that Fontaines would be taking to the stage with fellow Irish act Lankum, and set to play a special homecoming gig at Guinness’ headquarters later this year. That show will be held as part of the Lovely Days Live at the Home of Guinness series, which takes place at St. James’s Gate between May 23 and May 25, and is described as “an unforgettable three-day music, food and culture experience”.

Fontaines have been busy in the month or so, before the announcement of the two Irish shows, the band released a deluxe version of their 2024 album 'Romance' which features the new single 'It's Amazing to be Young', the previously unheard ‘Before You I Just Forget’ and a stripped-back live version of ‘Starburster’ that incorporates David Lynch’s ‘In Heaven (Lady In The Radiator Song)’.
