There We Were. But Here We Are

Foo Fighter's hit the top spot on the UK Album's Charts this week for the sixth time, with their eleventh album. Narrowly pipping Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds to the top spot. The album was the first album the band had released since the death of drummer Taylor Hawkins in March 2022.

Prior to this, Foo Fighters topped the Official Albums Chart with One By One (2002), Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace (2007), Wasting Light (2011), Concrete And Gold (2017) and Medicine At Midnight (2021).

Many music journalists have commented the album, is one of the best by the band and tackles the subject of grief brilliantly.
