The Fab Four back together again.

October 26th 2023. The Beatles announce new music. Over 50 years since the band have broken up and with two members no longer with us. You might be wondering how they are doing this.

Well it’s a story of a 1970s demo tape and 2023 AI. ‘Now & Then’ is the last Beatles song written by John Lennon. The band originally began work on the song in 1995, for The Beatles Anthology sessions where Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr tried to finish the track.

However they were unable to ensure Lennon’s vocal performance was fit for the song and ultimately the band abandoned the recording. The two remaining band members, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr began to work on the song again. Updating the parts they had recorded in the 90s isolating Lennon’s vocal and adding George’s guitar takes from the anthology sessions to create the very last Beatles song.

‘Now & Then’ is set for release on November 2nd 2023. The band plan to release the single as a double a side alongside ‘Love Me Do’ the bands first single, alongside the bands last.
