Cavorting & Snorting

Courteeners played Glastonbury for the 8th time this year. The band were given the early evening slot on Friday, playing on the Woodies Stage, formerly the John Peel stage.

Although the band had to compete with ‘The Churnups’ which we found out were the Foo Fighters on the Pyramid Stage, they still managed to fill the tent.

Having watched there set it was easy to see why. A non stop ferocious blast through the hits, I’ve seen Courteeners a fair few times, and Liams voice can be hit and miss. At Glastonbury he absolutely nailed it. As did the rest of the band. The even managed to throw a cover of ‘It Must Be Love’ in which would have won over the even the biggest doubters
