Blossoms following the release of their fifth album 'Gary', a sellout UK tour and their biggest gig to date in Manchester's Wythenshawe Park have announced three summer shows for 2025.
The shows will see the band play at Delamere Forest for Forest Live, in Derby for their Summer Sessions gigs and at Scarborough Open Air Theatre.
With some huge acts also on the bill including Inhaler and The Coral. Tickets for the shows are on sale this Friday 25th October at 9am
Blossoms are currently out on the road, on a UK and Ireland tour, which will wrap up with their ‘Five Nights In Manchester’ residency. The band are due to play five venues in the city with the likes of The K’s and The Lottery Winners.
The band have been heavilly rumoured to be supporting Oasis on their Live 25 tour next year. Although the Derby gig, clashes with the second night Oasis are playing in Cardiff. Blossoms are free for the rest of the tour. Including all four dates in Manchester.
The bands front man recently said in an interview with the NME “I’d like to think our name might be in the mix because why not? We’ve never shied away from saying how much they’ve influenced us. “We went to watch them at Heaton Park when we were 16, and we kind of know them both. I’m not going to get my hopes up, though, because, at the end of the day, it’s up to them. If we get asked, the bags are packed, and we’d smash it.”
I certainly hope that the band have a part to play in the Oasis tour.
