I’m a little bit late with this one, Monday saw the announcement of this years Teenage Cancer Trust line up. A series of concerts and performances in March at London’s Royal Albert Hall. With the aim of raising as much money for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
Over the years, numerous artists have played the event, from Courteeners to Kasabian, Paul Weller to The Vaccines. Every year seems to be a good one, and this years line up is no different. With all basis covered.
A celebration of what makes the shows great, with artists young and old taking to the stage. The Who one of Britains best bands ever, playing with Squeeze. Noel Gallagher and Stockports finest taking to the stage on the amazing night.
The Chemical Brothers bringing some dance music to the famous old venue. Arguably Britains best group, playing on Friday. I have no doubt Young Fathers will play an unreal show.
Sunday night being a who’s who of performers each of which have played these gigs before. It’s a truly special affair.
