A Real ‘Churnup’ for the Books

So ‘The Churnups’ were revealed to be Foo Fighters at Glastonbury today.

The band played a nine song setlist, on the Pyramid Stage, before Royal Blood and headliners Arctic Monkeys.

The setlist can be seen below

‘All My Life’

‘No Son of Mine’

‘Learn to Fly’

‘Rescued’

‘The Pretender’

‘My Hero’

‘Show Me How’ (with Violet Grohl)

‘Best of You’

‘Everlong’

It was the bands first  U.K. show since the loss of legendary drummer Taylor Hawkins. They happened to play an absolute blinder and draw one of the biggest crowds of the weekend. From watching it at home, I reckon there was 100,000 people in that field watching.

Dave also announced that the band will return to the U.K. next summer to play a tour. Anyone fancying it? I know I certainly am.

Glastonbury pulled off an absolute stroke of genius, with this secret set, they have good ones every year, ‘The Churnups’ may go down as one of the very best.
